ROM[A] Bust of Hercules to right, seen from behind, draped with lion's skin and holding club over his shoulder; to upper left, shield; behind, •/B. Rev. LENTMAR•F Roma standing facing, holding spear in her right hand, crowned by male figure standing left and holding cornucopiae in his left hand; between them, •/B; all within laurel wreath. Babelon (Cornelia) 25. Crawford 329/1a. RBW 1186 var. (without pellet above the B). Sydenham 604b. Beautifully toned. Struck on a slightly oblong flan, otherwise, good very fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
